the giants could not complete a sweep of the cincinatti reds today at att park.
the doyle clan took caltrain up to the game for an end-of-summer family outing before school starts next week for the kids. we had a good time, but couldn’t stay for all 12 innings of the game, which the giants eventually lost. the boys liked the train ride, but maybe less than i thought. next time we’ll take the ferry into the game.
i still have faith in madison bumgarner even though he killed my fantasy stats today. on the flip side, joey votto hammered the giants today and he also is on my fantasy team. for all of his production (4-7, 2HR, 4RBI) i gave a discreet fist pump to myself so as not to anger the surrounding giants fans.
