why can’t i have hair like this?

why does tim lincecum get hair like this from being half-white/half-filipino, but then i get handed down this thick, coarse mess that looks filthy if i ever try to grow it long?

we’re about ready to kick off another season of giants baseball. for kicks, i checked out the results of the 2006 amateur baseball draft to see what teams passed up on him:

evan longoria and clayton kershaw are good, but what about the other guys drafted ahead of the franchise? greg reynolds? brad lincoln? andrew miller?

but, as with life, you win some and you lose some. the giants won when they drafted lincecum #10 in the 2006 draft. the giants then lost when they drafted angel villalona, who is currently awaiting trial for killing someone in the dominican republic and may never play baseball again [link].

disney on ice – parents on tired

we caught disney on ice tonight at oracle, thanks to felicia’s luxury suite hookup from jaylene.

…monica was pretty excited to be there.

by the end of the night, the parents were pooped. at least the kids (minus logan) were put to sleep on the car ride home.

down with fools like this

reverend grant storms, 53, was arrested near metairie, LA for stroking himself while watching kids in a nearby playground. this guy is obviously going to get it behind bars. guess what he’s been known for? rallying against gay rights. now, everyone has the right to their opinion and i don’t judge people for that. i don’t agree with westboro baptist church stuff, but i don’t really care if they are out there with their signs or whatever.

[story from chicago tribune]

this kind of stuff is the worst, though. people rallying others to hate a certain group of people by gender, race or sexual orientation but then they are of questionable moral character themselves. and what about these people following this guy? they are even worse.

it reminds me of this earlier story on doylez.com about california state senator roy ashburn [story]

ps – i did like that sign in the picture though – pretty funny. adam and steve!
